Hand-building with Anne- Texture
Two day workshop exploring texture and color.
Service Description
Guest artist Anne Willette will demonstrate her hand-building techniques using torn slabs, adding texture and color to make a bowl. This workshop will also use tar paper as a template and for support during the building process. This is a great opportunity to learn from an expert hand-builder. Anne will teach techniques new to WiP students and fans. This is a more challenging class and participants should have some recent experience hand-building. Bowls will be glazed with a clear glaze by staff and will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks after the event. 18+ Participants must have some hand-building experience and understand basic clay techniques and terminology.
Cancellation Policy
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by email at teresa@workinprogressartstudio.com. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee. Cancellations made less than 48 will not receive a refund. The owner has the only right to be flexible here.
